This is a free tool designed to power down the monitor by a simple click

Features:

>Very Small interface
   Just a small window with two buttons - One to turn off monitor, one to set tool to launch at startup

>Very Small File Size
   Compressed size is about 8K and working program is about 32K

>Sticks to last moved spot
   So you can put it anywhere you like and it will stay there the next time you start windows

>Ignores small mouse jerks (Useful if you accidentaly jerk your mouse)
   So that you can go to sleep peacefully knowing that your monitor won't stay awake all night. Something
   I didn't find in other similar tools.

>Monitor does not wake up until the mouse is clicked or the ENTER key, or SPACEBAR is hit.
   So you don't accidentaly launch it or something - the monitor is dead until you wake it :)

>Does not allow multiple instances to bug each other
   So you don't run too many of it :P It'll let you move the old instance to the top left corner and keep it visible

>Stays on top
   So you don't accidentaly lose it somewhere along the clutter of windows

Known Bugs:

*On Windows Vista the application goes crazy if the user moves the mouse around too long
   This is caused by Vista's problems, not the application - Though I could tone the application to remove this bug.
   Look for a Vista version of the application soon.

+Ikarus detects older monpwr.exe as a virus
   This is a false positive. Lots of articles online blame Ikarus for generating false positives on proper programs.
   Don't let this worry you - the present executable passes even Ikarus's false positive :)


You can distribute this software for free as long as it is the original zip archive or executable.
